Dr. Smrati Jain

Post Doc – IIT Madras, PhD – IIT Guwahati

During her illustrious tenure at Tvasta Manufacturing Pvt Ltd, a vanguard in 3D concrete printing, Dr. Smrati Jain helmed the Material R&D division for nearly two years, spearheading innovative breakthroughs. As a co-founder of Tvasta's material research arm, Tvasta CACM, she forged a path of excellence, offering both internal and external consultancy services. Her impressive repertoire spans over five years and is punctuated by significant consultancy and academic endeavors. Among her distinguished projects are contributions to the monumental Ram Mandir, pioneering work on Limestone Calcined Clay Concrete, and advancements in railway sleeper concrete at IIT Madras. Serving as a Senior Project Manager (Post-Doctorate) within the Building Technology and Construction Management division at IIT Madras, she worked under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Manu Santhanam. Here, she honed her expertise in the realms of concrete durability and corrosion resistance, solidifying her status as an expert in her field.

Dr. Shantanu Bhattacherjee

M.Tech and PhD – IIT Madras

Dr. Shantanu Bhattacharjee has held the distinguished positions of Material Business Head and Printing Strategy Head at Tvasta Manufacturing Pvt Ltd, a pioneering entity in 3D concrete printing, for nearly 1.5 years. As a visionary co-founder of Tvasta's material research wing, Tvasta CACM, he has significantly contributed to both internal and external consultancy endeavors. His academic prowess is evidenced by his completion of an M.Tech. and PhD in the Building Technology and Construction Management division at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Manu Santhanam. His exceptional work has been recognized with the prestigious Prime Minister Research Fellowship (PMRF). He expertise encompasses the rheology of concrete and the development of alternative binders, marking him as a luminary in his field.
